Rex W. Tillerson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Exxon Mobil Corporation; Andrew N. Liveris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Dow 91成人短视频 Company; and Mark J. Costa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Eastman 91成人短视频 Company will be honored at the 91成人短视频鈥 (AIChE鈥檚) 2015 Gala: Leading the Way to a Safer World.

The event, which will raise funds for a new global Undergraduate Process Safety Learning Initiative, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City.

The new training program is being designed to ensure that chemical engineering graduates around the world are equipped with process safety knowledge when they enter the workforce. Accelerating undergraduate process safety education is also a core initiative of the AIChE Foundation鈥檚 鈥淒oing a World of Good鈥 campaign, which promotes chemical engineering鈥檚 positive impact on society.

The 2015 Gala coincides with the 30th anniversary of AIChE鈥檚 Center for 91成人短视频 Process Safety (CCPS), which has led efforts to share process safety best practices at companies around the globe.

In announcing the gala and its honorees, AIChE Executive Director June Wispelwey said, 鈥淭he advances in chemical process safety 鈥 made through CCPS and the work of countless chemical engineers working at CCPS member companies 鈥 are among our profession鈥檚 most important legacies. The Institute is delighted to host this year鈥檚 gala, which highlights the exemplary work of our honorees, all of whom are setting standards of excellence for process safety culture in their organizations.鈥

The 2015 Gala dinner chairs are: Neil A. Chapman, President, ExxonMobil 91成人短视频 Company; James (Jim) R. Fitterling, Vice Chairman of Business Operations, The Dow 91成人短视频 Company; Mark K. Each fall, AIChE holds an awards gala that recognizes leaders from a variety of industries whose careers exemplify excellence in advancing chemical engineering. The gala strengthens AIChE鈥檚 connection with industry leaders and builds support for important initiatives AIChE is undertaking on behalf of its members and the chemical engineering profession.

Last year鈥檚 gala supported the Institute鈥檚 diversity and inclusion initiatives. Funds raised underwrote scholarships for students from underrepresented groups, K鈥12 outreach initiatives, programs for international students, and AIChE鈥檚 advocacy for recruiting and retaining women in the profession, and supporting their re-entry after family leave.
