
The convenes virtually for its tenth year from September 13鈥15, 2021. ICOSSE serves as the international platform for innovation in sustainability science and engineering to discuss the trends towards greater sustainability. This year the congress is being chaired by three women with extensive sustainability experience 鈥 Silvia Palma-Rojas, California Energy Commission, Mo Li, University of California, Irvine, and Sabine Brueske, Energetics Incorporated.
This year鈥檚 ICOSSE will present a Woman in Sustainability panel moderated by the chairs and feature key women working in various aspects of sustainability science. These experts will share their work, how they got to where they are now, and offer advice for the next generation of women scientists and professionals.
The Congress provides a great opportunity to learn from different well-known national and international experts about engineering and sustainable solutions, and currently applied research and public efforts to overcome environmental and technical challenges of the current economic system.
