Launched nearly a decade ago, UPSLI offered undergraduate chemical engineers and faculty access to a better understanding of process through a mix of online certification coursework and in person workshops. Now, AdvanSix, BASF and LyondellBasell bring student bootcamps to three more universities later this year.

At the 2025 Spring Meeting, Kevin Fogash highlighted improvements, including a new grant proposal form. With the May 1st deadline near, the committee eagerly anticipates the next round of proposals.
