About
The Early Career Committee (ECC) of the International Metabolic Engineering Society (IMES) was formed in 2024 with the goal of addressing technical and career development needs of early career metabolic engineers. These include graduate students, post-docs, assistant professors and early career industry professionals. The ECC programs a career development workshop every other year at the Metabolic Engineering Conference, as well as other ongoing activities between events.
