Paul S. Dimick, PhD, is the General Manager of IntraMicron, Inc., where he leads the company’s efforts to develop, scale, and commercialize advanced materials and process technologies for energy, environmental, and defense applications. Since joining IntraMicron in 2010, he has guided the successful transition of multiple innovations from lab-scale proof-of-concept to real-world deployment — most notably in sulfur recovery, synthetic fuel production, and thermal management systems for high-­performance batteries. Dimick’s leadership spans R&D, process intensification, modular system design, and integrated manufacturing operations. He has played a central role in building IntraMicron’s technical and organizational capacity, leading the establishment of AS9100-compliant quality systems, an improved DCAA-compliant cost accounting framework, and a dedicated development and production facility. His work has helped grow the company’s engineering team, scale up new manufacturing capabilities, and position the firm for market expansion. He holds more than a dozen patents in catalysis, filtration, and modular reactor technologies, and he has been instrumental in securing federal and industry partnerships to advance clean energy, waste valorization, and defense-related innovations. Dimick earned a PhD in chemical engineering from Lehigh Univ. and a BS in chemical engineering from Lafayette College.
