Magali Barbaroux, PhD, leads advanced polymers research programs at Sartorius Corporate Research, focusing on environmental sustainability and polymer circularity. She began researching silicone for drug delivery and substance migration through membranes. Since joining Sartorius in 2000, she has developed a low extractables products portfolio for bioprocessing. Barbaroux has published approximately 30 papers and has over 30 years of experience in polymer science for healthcare. She received her PhD in materials science and engineering from Arts et M茅tiers ParisTech.
