Automation Consultant
Joseph Alford, PhD, is a retired Engineering Advisor from Eli Lilly & Co., a current part-time independent automation consultant, a Fellow of both AIChE and ISA, and a member of the Process Automation Hall of Fame. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Purdue Univ., and an MS and PhD in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Cincinnati. During his career, he helped lead the automation efforts of Lilly鈥檚 many bioprocesses, as well as the evaluation and implementation of advanced process technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence). He has authored or coauthored over 50 publications, including the textbook 91成人短视频 and Bio-Process Control, 5th ed., and several past articles within CEP.
