Dr. Alex Fridlyand, is a Senior Program Manager in the Heat and Power Group, part of the Low-Carbon Energy Solutions division, at GTI Energy. His work focuses on combustion system design for gas applications, building energy efficiency, and safe use of fuels inside buildings. He has over fifteen years of experience in applied and theoretical research in combustion, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. Alex received his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Chicago, both in Mechanical Engineering.
